Do my eyes deceive me or is the 14-42mm zoom being operated remotely in that video at about 1:00? I didn't think there was a motor in the lens unless what we are seeing is some sort of cheat with digital zoom.

OK, I have done a bit of research & realised that the 14-42mm lens in the video is not as I thought the nasty GH2 kit lens but presumably the H-PS14042E which is indeed a powered zoom lens. The only other powered zoom lens that I can find in the Panasonic line is the 45-175mm H-PS45175E. This is still a really neat full featured remote application & it would be worth getting one of these cheap powered zooms if you ever want to put the GH3 up on a jib or otherwise inaccessible place.
