Best Video Format For Grading Anamorphic Footage?

Hi,

Been reading this blog and the forums for a while and I have Andrew's Anamorphic guide, all of which has been most useful so firstly thanks to you all for that.

However, I'm wondering what format people use for grading Anamorphic footage?

I'm using a PC and normally I convert my .MOVs from my Canon DSLR to P2 Intra 100 and then apply noise reduction, then grade the image etc. (Believing that by converting to a better 10bit format will improve the quality of the final image once it's been processed etc).

Problem is P2 intra 100 only seems to work with standard aspect ratios/sizes like 1920x1080p. I want to use a 10bit high quality format that will let me convert my 1080p files to 1920x540p (2x anamorphic). Then I can grade in DaVinci or AE without having to mess around with masks.

Any ideas?

Cheers
