endlessthoughtsmedia
Yes they are but they are no better then 5d2.
GravitateMediaGroup
Yes they are but they are no better then 5d2.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no
but what about the 6D.....???
I love everything about it and it shoots better video in low light than the c300. I originally purchased a Nikon d600 and had it boxed up to return quicker than it took to unbox. What is it about the 6d you want to know or unsure of? ronjbase
Just wondering if it would be a great second camera to the 5D Mark III in terms of video. how is the aliasing and moire
GravitateMediaGroup
Haven't really put it through any scientific test yet, I would guess somebody online has. Look on some canon forums. There is progression being made everyday for Anti M/A filters and plugins so eventually these things will be a non issue. I'd sell the MK3 and buy 2 6D ; ) I'll try and upload a shot I got with a subject lit by a lamp and the background is all black. Basically NO noise and I really couldn't believe it. ronjbase
If I get the 6D, it will be more of a video camera that still, love the 5D MarkIII for the head phone jack........
galenb
Specifically, other then low light performance, how is the 6D better then the 5DmkII for video? Or is it? GravitateMediaGroup
GravitateMediaGroup
No noise in low light is really the only thing I care about with the 6d. If I want detail I'll shoot with gh2. all of this is temporary until I have the BMCC then the gh2 and 6d will be B Cams and stills cam. tomekk
someone pls confirm 6d better than 5dmk3 cause this seems to be very strange.
Bruno
I don't think anyone said the 6D is better than the 5D3, aliasing is better on the 5D3, but apparently noise is better on the 6D. http://blog.planet5d.com/2012/12/the-high-iso-battle-of-the-full-frame-heavy-weights-canon-6d-vs-canon-5d-mark-iii/
GravitateMediaGroup
If you are mainly shooting video go with the 6d. $1000 cheaper for = quality video/possibly better low light Plus magic lantern will be available for it any day now. tomekk
yeah, sorry, not better in every aspect but gravitatemediagroup said low light is better than c300?? This would be huge if true but hard to belive.
ronjbase
Can you hook up the Zucato EVF for focusing on a rig
Mondo
Can you hook up the Zucato EVF for focusing on a rig It has HDMI, so you should be good for that. Still not uncompressed, however.
ronjbase
no the EVF will be just for focusing and extra point of contact on my rig
Mondo
Do you mean the regular Zacuto Z-Finder? I guess I'm thinking of the Zacuto EVF Pro. The 6D has a 3" screen so I would assume any accessories that fit 3" screens would work.
