wolf33d
New Leica SL announced. Mirorless similar to A7S but : 24mpx > A7S II4K internally and 10 bit 4:2:2 output !!!! > A7x120FPS in FHD with full frame sensor (no crop like A7SII) > A7x(if it is clean)World fastest AF > A7xTouch screen > A7x4.4MP EVF with 0.8x magn > A7x11 FPS for stills > A7xIf it were not for the price... I would buy it. Of course this are specs and it might be that the image is way less good than A7S II. Leica SL camera tests and reviews:Test by Jono Slack on L-camera-forum. Juan Le
^AgreedWhen a camera is more than twice the price of another, it's in a completely separate category; it targets a different demographic and may serve a different purpose. The Chris
It should be compared to the A7sII and the FS5 since both can be had for about the same as the SL body, and they both combine weigh about the same and are actually smaller in hand. Ok the last part is sarcasm, but geez this thing looks fat.
ntblowz
If they release Lumix version its an instant buy from me, I love the ergonomics and ease of use from Panasonic, and they dont hitch the price up like sony do

It's WAY above the former's price bracket. It's above the FS5. It's even about the same as an FS7. But don't get me wrong. It could be a really nice all in one solution. But for us video minded folks it's not a huge game changer.

Yup, could buy a Sony FS5 *AND* a Sony A7s mk1 for the price of one Leica SL. Or a Sony FS7. Makes it madness to buy a Leica SL for 98% of people I reckon. Jimmy
You will also need an external recorder to access the 10bit, so that is a bit skewed. May as well throw the RED Raven in the mix too.
