gaukler Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 I've just registered to tell you all: Rumors about the departure of Samsung Germany from the camera buisness was there for some time -today it is the turn of Andreas Wahlich, Head of Sales and Marketing at Samsung Digital Imaging Germany, confirmed by "heise photo" ( = ct = big german electronic magazine) by e-mail that they have taken the decision to withdraw from the German market for digital cameras, camcorders and related accessories. Here is his statement in full:"In Germany, we have been observing for some time a gradual decline in demand for digital cameras, camcorders and related accessories. We have to adapt to the demands of the market and have therefore decided to phase out sales and marketing of these products gradually. This is to be a decision that affects only the German market.
