Kowa 2X bell and howell on A7S

Hey,

 

I shot some footage with my kowa 2X on my A7S. However the A7S is 16:9 and not 4:3 and I am shooting 1920*1080p but what canvas size do i need to setup in After Effects?

This is what i do in resolve: i set the timeline to 2880x1080 for 2.66:1, i set it to 2560x1080 for 2.35:1. The tricky part is, i set the footage to stretch to match the timeline and then i apply an horizontal zoom from 1.33 to 1.5 depending on distance to subject/place on composition on a clip by clip basis (it can be more stretched on the sides so you decide).
