Cinegain
From another topic:[..]The sigma 18-35 works nicely on the NX1. Really sharp, great lens. Fotasy G adapter with aperture control ring is decent and inexpensive.I guess the Fotasy is similar to Pixco, Roxsen, Fotga, etc. eBay and such. e.g. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pixco-Nikon-G-Lens-to-Samsung-NX-Adapter-GN100-NX1100-NX300M-NX2000-NX300-NX210-/281155632292 , http://www.ebay.com/itm/Roxsen-Nikon-F-mount-G-DX-AF-S-lens-to-Samsung-NX-camera-adapter-NX300-NX11-NX20-/400676312568 & http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nikon-AI-F-mount-G-DX-AF-S-lens-to-Samsung-NX-NX1000-NX300-NX11-NX20-camera-adap-/252179657707 , http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adapter-fur-Nikon-G-Objektive-an-Samsung-NX-Kameras-/262119442477 .Perhaps AliExpress, they've got a bunch of that kinda stuff too... http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Pixco-Lens-Mount-Adapter-Suit-For-Nikon-F-Mount-G-Lens-to-Samsung-NX-Camera-NX3000/32241280796.html , http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mount-Adapter-Ring-Suit-For-Nikon-G-Lens-to-Samsung-NX-Camera-NX1-NX30-NX500-NX300M/32359536057.html , http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Lens-Adapter-ring-G-NX-Lens-to-NX-Camera-Body-zebra-Metal-adapter-ring/32286221327.html , http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Nikon-AI-F-mount-G-DX-AF-S-lens-to-Samsung-NX-NX1000-NX300-NX11-NX20/32324579980.html . shanebrutal
Simon Shasha
Hey mate,Thank you so much for the reply! The ones you linked were the ones I was looking at earlier, but I was under the impression that they didn't control the aperture ring in Nikon-G mount lenses... Cinegain
Well, for sure the ones with 'lock - open' do. The others with the silver rings, I'm guessing they are aperture rings too (Roxsen says 'with aperture control ring').These type of adapters wont:
Simon Shasha
Haha, I thought that's what the "Lock" and "Open" meant! Thanks again for the help and reply, much appreciated!!
Santiago de la Rosa
Mine is the Fotasy, it´s not a Metabones, but it´s very cheap and works.
Frankie
This one's my favourite !http://www.amazon.com/Novoflex-NX-NIK-Aperture-G-Series/dp/B003Z6QFNC here and there too:http://www.foka.nl/novoflex-adapter-nx-nik-nikon-op-samsung-nxhttp://www.digixo.com/optiques/convertisseur-monture/novoflex/p270098-convertisseur-de-monture-samsung-nx-pour-objectifs-nikon---nx-nik.html
Cinegain
Is that dummy adapter made from gold and laid-in with diamonds, or what? Those are insane prices. There's not even glass or electronics involved, right? How is that worth 10 times more than other adapters? Even custom made chunk of metal ciecio7 adapters are cheaper than that... Geez. shanebrutal
shanebrutal
Indeed the fotasy nikon g adapter with aperture ring rocks. I wouldn't even bother with anything more expensive. This is the exact one I got: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=221804455384&alt=web Cinegain

cojocaru27
Hi guys, am planning to buy a nikon 50mm 1.4d which has an aperture ring on the lense. I ordered also an adapter that has an aperture ring aswell. Do you think is it a problem having aperture rings on both lense and dumb adapter? shell i cancel my order and by a normal adapter? thank you
Super Members Mattias Burling Posted July 3, 2016 Super Members Share Posted July 3, 2016 It will be fine with two aperture rings. BTW, I can't recommend the ND throttle enough. Aperture ring and built in ND Fader of high quality. mercer

Considering one of the cheap EOS to mft focal reducers with the apeture blades here..

I have some samples and side by side in this, BTW, if anyone wants to buy the Nikon to Samsung NX from the video above, I can sell you mine. pintowar
Hi guys. Today, what is the most recommended Nikon G-Samsung NX adapter?? Thank you.
homestar_kevin
Still the same answers as above. There have been no real new adapters, so the ones listed above are what you have to choose from. Mine is still working great. pintowar

It seems that the Fotasy adapter is the best in terms of quality / price. Other adapters of the same brand Fotasy work well ?? For example, M42 to NX or C/Y to NX adapters ?? homestar_kevin
I've bought a few adapters for the NX1, all the similiar cheap Fotasy or Rainbow, chinese stuff. All have been good enough for me and certainly worth the cheap price point they are at. I have the Nikon, Canon FD, Olympus Zuiko, M42, Minolta MD, Konica AR and Leica R. They're all good. For the like $8-15 they are, they're absolutely worth it. Just don't forget to buy some NX rear caps if they don't come with them. pintowar
