Timelapse on Samsung NX 1

I was playing around with the "Interval Capture" which is an extremely godsend feature. I especially like that there is a video made side-by-side in-camera along with the photos. But you can't change the interval between each photograph to anything less than 2 seconds (I needed it to be 1 second). Is there a workable way around this?

You have to turn off "timelapse" function within "interval capture" menu (it just create 4K low bitrate video after you finish interval capture - not much usable if you shoot in RAW). Then you will have 1 second interval capture.
