SR
Hi, guys, it seems Samsung has somehow snuck in a (sorta) fix for the 30mm manual focus problem. On my NX1, when I press record, it still automatically switches to AF. But if I press the onscreen button (highlighted in the image) after it's recording, I have full manual focus over the lens!I was able to confirm this with the help of another user on Facebook who's on an older firmware. The strange thing is, this didn't work for me on any older firmware besides 1.4. Either ways, I can now use this lens for video!
tugela
You can lock focus in AF mode by pushing the button below it as well.
Pavel Mašek
You can always use AF ON button to jump between AF / MF (faster than touch display). The point of the problem is that you lost precise focus (using magnifier) from photo mode. It is also antoher reason why I have switched to 45mm 1.8 which has AF/MF button on its body (I am still in AF / MF mode)
