10 bit 120 fps 4k is coming soon

Apparently chip maker Ambarella has created two new chips one that supports 60fps using h.265, the other that will support up to 120fps 4k video using his 264. Both do 10 bit. 

I'm pretty certain these will cost much less than the $3200 Dji x5r, so patience will save you some hard earned money.

Interesting but I think it is related just to small cameras with small sensors eg. GoPro and DJI's drones. As it is stated in the article - it probably much more challenging to get 4K (moreover with higher framerates) from larger sensors...   but 10 bits... that sounds promising.

does it even mention the sensor size before you compare it to a m43 camera?

I think i will try to make money with some real cameras rather than wait for a sensor to get crippled in the hope of saving a bit of cash.
