Matt Kieley
Just got the camera yesterday, and I'm already in love. This is only a test. BMPCC/Prores 422/HQ/Rokinon 16mm & 10mm. Quick, dirty spontaneous footage/lighting/grading. This is only a test. https://vimeo.com/151484715 Liam
mercer
Nice. Dirty windshield lens diffusion looks great.

cantsin
Seems you have infrared pollution on your footage (this is why the image looks brownish). Strong recommendation: get IR cut filters for your lens. You should always use them when you shoot with the BM Pocket.

It really makes the imagine just that much nicer. I wish there was a moire/IR cut internally... Lintelfilm

Turboguard
Just look at this difference Foliage is always a good spot to find the IR pollution.
Matt Kieley
I ended up regrading this video, and I found a free prores encoder for Windows, so I've re-uploaded it.

tupp
@Matt KieleyCongratulations on your new BMPCC. Nice video. A friendly warning, just in case you are unaware: the micro-HDMI connector on the BMPCC is extremely delicate. It can be hopelessly destroyed with the slightest pull on your HDMI cable. Don't use an HDMI cable without some form of serious strain relief on the cable, such as a cage with an HDMI cable/connector clamp: You could also use a flimsy, gimbal HDMI cable tied-off to some part of the cage or tripod head. Matt Kieley
I suppose this will just be my own dedicated Pocket Camera test footage thread. I tried doing a Super 8 emulation this time:I shot this with my Computar 16mm f/1.6 lens, which cost me $6 and seemed to be the perfect shitty lo-fi lens choice for a super 8 look. I used my iSupr8 iPhone app for the grain/mask. I think it turned out okay, not perfect. Liam
