duncan
Hi wonderful people.I have a Manfrotto MVH502AH head which has become stuck to my Glidetrack Video Tripod. Nothing I do will seperate them, any ideas?I've used a heavy mallet and tap tap tap TAP!!!! But I'll end up damaging it.Also, the Glidetrack tripod is terrible, dont buy it! Cinegain
Maybe temperature shock it into loosening up if you can? But in general: just keep trying, it will probably give in at some point. G'd luck.
duncan
Thanks, after spending all morning trying I gave up and went to the father-in-law's and used his metal vice. Now removed and cleaned. Bloody thing.Cheers.
tupp
You probably also could have used a strap wrench, which has less of a tendency than a vise to scratch your tripod head.
