Anyone with experience using such hardware and Avid ?

What is the workflow for using this hardware, and how much faster or easier will 4k editing and encoding be ? wouldn't a more expensive dual xeon workstation be a better upgrade option ?

It's $2,999.00 for the hardware + avid media composer academic, is it worth it ?
