IronFilm
You could use a Sigma 19/30/60mm f2.8 primes if you don't want to crop.
Justin Bacle
I am going to revive this topic, but this camera ticks many box. The only thing missing is 10 bit output IMO. @Mattias Burling did you get a chance to shoot more since your first review ? Any updates on your review ? I don't see many used LS300 for sale yet, but I don't know how many were sold. Timotheus
Kisaha
We are using one for a documentaries series. It is the best value for money camera of its kind. A dSLR killer for video. Justin Bacle

Yep, now at $2.5K in US with 3 years of warranty makes it an amazing value for documentaries.
Kisaha
No, we did some tests before the production started and we couldn't really handled it right, then we decided on some standard things, and that's it. It is our main camera, and use 2 other Canon 5D mk3 for some other stuff. The editor had some issues with the codec in the beginning (AVID), but I believe it was incompetence of the editor's assistant. 2800 is Β&Η money, where is 2.5?! If it stays at that kind of money, I could ask my North American friends to bring me one, so we have 2 on our production company. Perfect for events recordings, run and gun stuff. The price here was 3500euros (everything is very expensive in Europe) 4 months ago.
mike_tee_vee
How is the auto focus on this with native m43 glass? It's hard to find much coverage on the LS300

Kisaha
@Alt Shoo are you involved with the production? Do you have any production comments and/or settings to share with us? Great work, skin colors a bit off (because of the stylitization I guess), excellent job overall.
Alt Shoo
No not involved, just a advocate for this powerful sleeping giant! On 2/11/2017 at 10:43 AM, mercer said: Wicked! webrunner5
There was one for $2,000.00 used on ebay a few days ago with like 66 hours on it, body only. That is a great deal.
Alt Shoo
@Mattias Burling will you still be divulging information on the ls300?
