Which fieldmonitor/recorder, - advice wanted

I see you already made your decision and the BM VideoAssist 5" looks very good for the price. My personal preference is the Zacuto EVF Pro since I do lots of outdoor documentary material. The large eyecup also forms a third point of contact which stabilizes hand held shots. They are now about $700: http://amzn.com/B004WZ8OR0 However I have seem some on eBay in the $400 range.

Of course it does not record so you'd have to get something like a Ninja Star which is another $300 and it's HD only: http://amzn.com/B00KO1XFZW

On the GH4 I would personally use internal camera recording and the Zacuto EVF which avoids an expensive 4k external recorder.
