shijan
Tucsen & Gpixel Inc. Jointly Launch the Dhyana 95, the World’s First 11um pixel with 2K x 2K resolution, 95% Quantum Efficiency Scientific CMOS Camera. I must say that QE of 95% in real world is huge amount of dynamic range! For example sensor used in blackmagic pocket camera has QE about 55% . http://www.tucsen.com/products/Dhyana_95.htmlhttp://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20160426005839/en/Tucsen-Gpixel-Jointly-Launch-Dhyana-95-World’s
Don Kotlos
Quantum efficiency is very good indeed but in only affects low light sensitivity and not dynamic range. Dynamic range depends on full well capacity & read noise, which on this camera gives ~93db (~15 stops) of dynamic range. Pretty good but typical with scientific cameras. The biggest problem (other than the excessive prices of most scientific cameras & the need for a PC to run them) is that it doesn't offer global shutter that you can find in other scientific cameras.
