Let's Talk Wide 2x

This is the widest I've been able to get yet. Any other single focus experience with wide 2x? Anybody get total FF coverage at 50mm?

So, you cropped the image from 3.66:1 to 2.36:1 because of the vignette?

I cropped the image to 2.40 as a standard. 3.55 is too wide.

80+mm will cover the FF with 2x ana, 1.33x anamorphic will cover 50mm on FF.

This is 50mm on an a7s for 4:3 coverage, a little bit of zoom for vignette but it's plenty wide. 19mm S35 Horizontal FOV.

Sorry for my dumbness, but I don't exactly understand you. You said, that you cropped from 3.55:1, so you must had shoot on 16:9 mode. I'm not even sure if you can shoot in 4:3 mode with the A7S.

Nobody gets FF coverd with 2x anamorphic lens with 50mm, because it'll vignette. Doesn't matter if you shoot on 16:9 or 4:3.

Shoot with 1:1 barely can do @50mm as FF.
