FS5 noise on external recorder

Hey guys, first post, but hoping to find out a solution. Sample screenshots of the issue below too.

I recently shot a project on the FS5 and Atomos Shogun, shot it at 1080 10bit through BNC to the Shogun and had a ton of noise and artifacts in the darks. Shot it on Slog3 at 3200iso (wasn't able to bring the iso down...is there a way I missed?). Ended up having to use noise reduction on over half the shots in post....Is this a camera downfall? I forgot to check the camera's firmware version before sending it back. I was considering making this our new A camera, but if we have to use noise reduction in every project then it's not a solution IMO.
