IronFilm
Hope it gets hacked! Is what makes the original so strong a choice for 360VR. Hope they also keep on making the original, that way they're attacking both the high end of GoPros, and competing also with a second product at a very very low price. I'm sure that most, if not everyone has seen and/or heard about back-bone, but I didn't know it was available at bhphotovideo.com http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?N=11155134&InitialSearch=yes&sts=pi If you can pair it with one of these.... now you are talking: http://lilliputweb.net/mopro.html You might need to do some hacking of your own, i.e. burn out and file away to cut-out the back-bone add-on into the liliput monitor. IronFilm
mkabi, LOL! I hope you are joking. I think that is a bit expensive/ridiculous. Just get yourself a BMMCC instead.
sanveer
GoPro is dying. I bet my money on Xiaomi on putting the Final nail on the coffin. Considering the abyssal level of innovator at GoPro, they probably deserve it. Sad for the investors and shareholders. Pavel Mašek
bradbellick
Yeah, if you get into m4/3 size then why would you use a GoPro? By the way, original accessories are coming out: http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Original-Xiaomi-YI-Waterproof-Case---Floating-Grip-for-Xiaomi-YI-4K-Action-Camera-2-366895.html This one is $47.99 for Waterproof Case + Floating Grip. bradbellick
I've to agree with sanveer, looks like the GoPro has to get some grading in post to look good. The Yi on the other side already looks good and is much more stable. Some real photos: vaga

wobba
Is 4K limited to 30P only (i.e. no 24/45P) ? Jaime Valles
DPStewart
The stabilization is nice...but the GoPro still appears to have greater dynamic range and more gradable color. That still makes a HUGE difference if your footage needs to be cut against footage from other cameras.

Though, both of them don't have very sharp lenses, for stills. IronFilm
