Recently it hit me that it makes more sense to rent because it really doesn't matter what camera you shoot with these days. Its you making the images and its you the clients pay for. This is a business of reputation. Its who you know, not what you have. I understand some agencies do ask for an equipment list but I guarantee you they care more about the portfolio you send them than that. Clients can careless they just want the end result to make them feel like they got more than what they paid for in terms of quality.
