Window_Frame
According to this tweet from someone who has already seen the movie, it looks like the upcoming Blair Witch movie or at least parts of it might have been shot on the a7/a7s. mercer
Yeah, that the new Adam Wingard film. Supposedly everybody knew he was making a found footage film but nobody knew it was the sequel to Blair Witch.
aldolega
Assuming it's shaky-cam style like the first, I can't think of many cameras worse than the A7s/A7sII. Jello city! Geoff CB and iamoui

Bioskop.Inc
Judging by the trailer, you're not going to have enough time to notice jello...
Davey
Shows how much more important sound is than actual imagery when it comes to this kind of low budget nonsense. iamoui
Ed_David
Whatever it is, I think the look is working against them - cartoony, bright colors - no it shouid be crappier looking - iphone-ish style - it's also lit too well - it should have been underexposed - more doc style man I should make my own found footage horror film mercer, Chrad and tweak
tweak
^ I agree, should have shot it on mini-dv.

Chrad
The original used the constraints of the budget brilliantly. The DV and b/w 16mm looked so discomfortingly nasty. Blair Witch + a budget just seems to be missing the point. Ed_David
Jimmy
I guess the idea of "found" footage becomes harder to show when kids can now shoot on cameras with 12 stops DR, amazing low light, 5 axis IBIS etc.... They should have done it all with iphone and a selfie stick, searching the forest for Pokemon. kaylee and IronFilm

And yes, I would pay money to see a found footage movie shot by Ed. Bioskop.Inc
Actually couldn't find much info concerning the claim for it being shot on A7/A7s - wishful thinking? Going by the 2 films I've seen by Adam Wingard, both excellent, this one will probably be really good - he knows what he's doing as far as suspense/tension building goes & don't get me started on twists. Both of these worth a watch, especially "You're Next". You're Next - Red One MX The Guest - ARRI Alexa
