لطفي بوعكاز
Hi I really liked your short on the ferrari video, it's so well done! I just have a question for the NX1 and that's ISO setting, are you trying to always use the lowest iso "100" or with gamma DR you're using always a higher iso. because in order to use film convert, you need a flat profile. but in cameras like RED that shoot RAW iso is always high. Herb
Cool! Kinda surprised that so many people were clamoring for this, yet after 13 hours, only 3 people have said anything... Where's the enthusiasm, people? Thanks for the samples Ricardo and Marco. Can't wait to see more! Marco Tecno and tokhee

ricardo_sousa11
Today Ill try filming with their specific settings and checking how they compare, all my tests were with my own settings, so it might not work as well..
Marco Tecno
My tests were with Andrew's recommended settings, which are very similar to basic GammaDR, so I used this specific profile in FilmConvert.

Marco Tecno
Nope. I tested it on the footage I already had, which was shot with A's settings. Is there a way to 'correct' this on existing footage? Fc has several profiles for nx1, one of which is gamma dr (the most similar one to A's).
shanebrutal
I tested it with their settings for gamma dr but forgot I had master black level still at 15 and it looked really nice haha. Didn't even realize until I looked back at my camera after grading. And I definitely noticed a ridiculous green cast without andrews setting for gamma dr. But the film convert profile compensates nicely for this.

I mean, taking the green back to normal levels, considering that nx1 profile lowers it?
Popular Post John Parker
Hi guys, FilmConvert here. Just wanted to let you know we've heard the feedback about some redness in the NX1 profile. We're doing some more QA here, and may release a new version of the profile shortly. Most are using these settings to get good colors ooc and great dr. André Eriksson and iamoui

Andrews settings for the nx1 are overrated & unfounded. Especially the 0.95x color shift thing he came up with
