justinx
Hey all, Long time fan of the forum & first time poster. I've had the a7sii for a few months now and am loving it. Only question I'm having is does the camera have a black balance feature? I've read with other cameras (c100mkii, sometimes red, etc) you must black balance after pushing the camera to high ISO's to "reset" the sensor and keep it noise-free. Since I'm doing a lot of high-ISO shooting with the a7sii I figure it's only natural I look for the same feature with this camera. Does anyone know if there's an option to do this in the menu system? Haven't found it yet. Thanks so much!
Luke Mason
Sony cameras runs an automatic pixel re-map every month or so. If you want to force it you can set the date forward on your date/time a couple months, and then turn the camera off. Wait about five seconds, the shutter will close, the sensor will re-map and the pixels.
