mitchrichie
I'm a lens newb so be nice :) I purchased a Tamron 80-210mm on ebay a while back for $5.00 as well as a Minolta MD adapter to m4/3 so I could put it on my GH2. It works reasonably well for a $5.00 lens but I've noticed that it won't focus on far away objects such as the moon. I'm wondering if this is because I need some sort of spacer or something to make the lens the correct distance from the sensor... Thanks for any pointers. Administrators Andrew Reid Posted February 8, 2012 Administrators Share Posted February 8, 2012 It needs to be closer to the sensor by less than 1mm. Unfortunately it appears your adapter is slightly off. Is it a Chinese one? It could also be that the old lens has focus issues - more likely.
