Olympus 12-40 f/2.8

Thinking of this for the BMCC - does anyone know if the aperature is wide open by default (so I can control exposure using a vND) or whether it's fully closed (in which case it won't work!). The downside of having to use it wide open isn't an issue for a bit of fun and I can also use it on my pocket.

If you are talking about the Olympus 12-40 f/2.8 Pro for m43 you can control the aperture electronically from the BMMCC with no issue. I use this combo often.

BMMCC and BMCC is not the same thing.

And it is the BMCC I refer to here (at least until I sell it to fund a BMMCC!)

You're right, excuse me, I read Olympus 12-40 and to me that is a "combo" with my BMMCC, I did not consider there is also a m43 BMCC, not only an EF one
