mojo43
I am looking for a small form factor view finder for my RX100 to use when manually focusing in bright daylight. Any good suggestions out there? Obviously I want something small. Taxrummawoodo
Julian
How about a loupe on the LCD?
mojo43
Ya, I was thinking about that. I guess I was hoping for something with a smaller form factor. Loupes tend to be larger than the camera. Has anyone used one with the RX100 that worked out well?
jgharding
This LCDVF is listed as working. I can't vouch for it fitting well, as I've not tried it.http://www.ebay.com/itm/LCDVF-4-3-Sony-SLT-A57-SLT-A77-SLT-A65-DSC-RX100-DSC-HX9V-VIEWFINDER-DSRL-LCD-/160939169476?pt=UK_Photography_DigitalCamAccess_RL&hash=item2578b8d6c4
mojo43
Thanks for the suggestion. Man that thing looks as big as the camera and lens :( I wish they made a VF that had optics to reduce the length so it would be more compact! jgharding
The optics like this are incredible simple, thus cheap. It may be possible to reduce the length (I don't know much about the inside of lenses really) but I'm sure it'd require more glass.

If you have a handle on the bottom of the camera and a loupe on the back it can be very stable.
