borisnb
Has anyone noticed that Panasonic GH3 stops 1-2 Seconds BEFORE you stop the Recording. Example: If you want to Record 5 Seconds of Video, you have to stop at 6 or 7 Seconds, then you have 5 Seconds recorded. Is it normal for this camera? Thanks. Mondo
I've noticed that as well. Hasn't been a huge issue for me yet but it's rather annoying.
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted February 13, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2013 There's a lag of 1 second from when record button is pressed and recording begins. More worryingly there's a 1.5-2 second curtailment at the end of the clip so if you stop recording a stopwatch on 10 seconds, the end of the clip will show the watch on 8.5 seconds. This was in the pre-production model too and I told Panasonic to fix it. Seems they did not do this. Mondo
Mondo
Looking back at some footage from a past shoot it definitely interfered with a few seconds of footage that I needed. Really hope they fix this as well as keeping the on screen data on the display while shooting.
borisnb
Then, should this issue be a reason to return the camera to store?
