sanveer
I picked up a Panasonic GX80/85 from Australia. I have really not had the time to use it much. Maybe like a week or less of actual use. Now I noticed this curious image appearing on the screen. It prevents me from recording anything. It happened from the first few times I used the camera. I initially thought it must have been something else, because it disappeared every time I switched my Camera Off and then On. But now, it is Permanent. Does anyone know why this seems to be happening. Though I am planning to send my camera to the service centre, I am curious as to What this Problem really is, and if anyone knows or has experienced it. Am a little disappointed cause I Finally got free from my other jobs to be able to shoot something, and then the other camera I have on me suddenly stops working. Cinegain
Looks like hardware failure. Some cable that relays sensor or processed information to the display computing unit. That thing needs to be opened and repaired I'd say. sanveer
tupp
That's just a little FPN. Cinegain
Cinegain
Haha, yeah, the typical BMD fanboy response 'Ho there buddy, you can't expose like that, it's not the camera's fault, you need to properly light for it'. In which case: you tried taking off the lens cap?
Orangenz
I used to have the same wallpaper in my house!
John Matthews
@sanveer, that's a real bummer. You've got a faulty one for sure. Please report to us on how long it takes Panasonic to fix it so we can compare with other camera manufacturers. sanveer

I just hope they fix the issue properly at the earliest, and that it isn't a recurring one after it's fixed.
