Dan Wake
I need help to find a right workflow please. I will probably start soon to edit a documentary where people speech in arabic dialect. I can not understand that language so I will probably need someone that can help me to translate everything. Probably hours of footage. The best workflow that I can imagine (but I'm really open to your advices because it's the first time I do this specific job) is to translate everything and add the subtitles in my language over the video so it will be very simple to watch the footage by myself and start to edit. I mean that tha translator guy will speech and I will add subtitles in real time. This process must be fast and fluid. The problem is that I really do not know which software is better to use to add subtitles in a very fast way. I use premiere but it looks really slow for this job. With premiere I use to create "new titles" and writing over there, its very slow I can't use this thechnique. what do you think? I need something that can split automatically the words in excess over the video to another frame (that frame the subtitles automatically over the images). Can you suggest me a software please? thanks so much.
funkyou86
This might work: Upload video to youtube » your translator easily adds captions via the online editor » download the captions from youtube » load into premiere like that » you're ready to cut.
