Dustin Posted July 23, 2018 Share Posted July 23, 2018 @kidzrevil I’ve now shot two projects both involving outdoor 90+ degree heat and knock on wood I haven’t seen any overheating! IBIS seems to work best for me when I shoot using the EVF to my eye. If I have the luxury of resting my arms on something it’s dang near tripod like. kidzrevil Posted July 23, 2018 Share Posted July 23, 2018 @Dustin try using the battery grip options too bro, the “dummy” battery used to connect the grip helps move the heat away from the main body to the grip. I echo your above sentiments If you want to make a virtual tripod, try switching the IBIS mode from IS 2.0 to the stationary mode if you haven't already.
