Jed Camara
It would be used for corporate video and music videos. Basically I currently have the Ursa Mini 4K, but I need something more versatile and light weight and small for Gimbals, so I was looking at the Sony FS5 with Raw upgrade + Shogun Inferno. But then I had a thought. For a similar price I could get a combo of a 2nd hand Red Scarlet MX (for corporate and music video) and a 2nd hand C100 for event filming, run and gun. Is the Scarlet MX still worth investing in now adays? Never shot with one but from what I understand it's not that heavy as I've seen Devin Supertramp use it on a Glidecam with no vest. The Ursa mini is too heavy and large for my liking. Sure I'll miss the super slow mo of the FS5 but the Red brand may help sway some clients who get excited from the name RED... hijodeibn
If I was you, I will go for the scarlet MX and the second hand C100, also get a Ninja Star for the C100 and you are ready for low light…..hey, but this is me, I hate Sony skin-tones so I will always choose first Canon or RED
