Arnob
Hi! I will try to make it short and sweet: My goal: I would like to continuously (at least for few hours) stream the live feed of a camera to an external monitor which would be few meters away from the camera. I've read couple of articles about it but it is still really unclear in my mind... I would really appreciate your explanations. - Do you have a recommendation for a camera that can do continuous streaming without overheating? - I've read that I probably need a HDMI capture card, but do not understand the exact purpose. - Do I need a piece of software to monitor thisÉ Thanks in advance for your support! cantsin
Look into the newly announced Blackmagic Web Presenter: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/blackmagicwebpresenter The box converts the HDMI signal from a digital camera into a USB 720p web cam stream that works with any software and operating system. Should solve your issue.
no_connection
It it's just to an external monitor then connect HDMI directly to it? As for camera, studio camera without recording do go on for a lot longer on battery then the recording models. Or you could find a conference camera that could be remote controlled.
