Super Members Mattias Burling Posted February 26, 2017 Super Members Share Posted February 26, 2017 Sweden takes home two wins. The best foreign film and best cinematography for La la land. Hopefully We are also nominated for best music but I dont know anything about it.
Geoff CB
I'm betting Moonlight will win Best Picture, tons of backlash for La La Land and it is weighted voting. La La Land is a lock for cinematography though.
Parker
Moonlight was absolutely gorgeous color-wise, what a fantastic grade that movie has. La La Land will be tough to beat though, marvelous-looking movie. But what about Lion? I really liked the movie (though I wasn't as blown away by its cinematography as some of the other nominations) but it did, surprisingly, take home the ASC cinematography prize this year, which is normally pretty telling. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out.
jbCinC_12
Well, based on the Steven Harvey snafu of last year, it's was one hell of a ride. Too bad it couldn't be a tie or both would share. One can dream can we.
Super Members Mattias Burling Posted February 28, 2017 Super Members Share Posted February 28, 2017 Sadly Sweden had to settle with only one for Best Cinematography. In other news, the Tech Oscar went to the Sony F65! http://www.sonyalpharumors.com/sony-f65-cinealta-wins-tech-oscar-sony-world-photography-awards-shortlist-announced/
