Hahaha. Ever since film equipment has become affordable to the majority if filmmakers, it has become more and more difficult to justify absurd pricing of filmmaking equipment.

Also this whole lens resolution thing has become Absurd. It is almost as ignorant as geocentricism before a horde of murders and jail sentences of scientists by the church. If lenses as as lousy and have as low resolutions as testing agencies validated, or certified, smartphone resolutions would not even hover around 5MP, leave alone the 21MP of some of the Sony ones and the 36 (/40) MP of the Pure view lineup of the Nokia Phones. Lens resolution charts are ridiculously weird. They mean no harm, but they should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Funny article though. Not sure how people chose names.
