Rob Bannister
Thanks Tony, it sucks that everyone doesn't have you as a great resource. I bet it will go for a really high amount. It's a neat version of the lens I never knew existed. The larger rear element is interesting and whatever the 10mm lens is is also quite interesting. Ill do a search on this seperation on the elements seems like a pretty big problem.
bootsie
Hello, how about this one? Isco 1.9x Anamorphic Projection Lens. It is apparently not suitable for attaching to a camera. It is not supplied with a mount. Would that be a problem? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Isco-1-9x-Anamorphic-Projection-Lens-/190832480437?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2c6e8090b5
tony wilson
look at the size of it look at the 9v batt for scale. if you like 5kg optics go for it the seller as the english say is a wanker never tests just writes words.. apart from that if you have arnie swarcheyeneggar arms go for it. focus will be iffy as well not designed for constant focus use. Rob Bannister
Ah good to know that it is not suitable for s16. Is the anamorphic piece better like he says because of the rear element or is it the same.
bootsie
Well, it was me. He sold it for a price I just could not resist… The dutch Iscorama 54 arrived today in mint condition. Focus is smooth as can be. I'm overwhelmed. Julian and Gábor Ember

Julian
Tony, do you know anything about this lens? (Kinoscope, fixed focus projection 1.5x?) http://www.ebay.com/itm/190835510591?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
highres
how about this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190835510591&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123#ht_500wt_1414 can't find many details about it. Like what kind of taking lens it would use. Thinking it would be a good option for the pocket cam with c-mount lenses

Paulio
Can anyone confirm what this is? is it a newer MC iscorama 36 with the prime attached? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Isco-f-Rollei-SL35-1-2-50mm-Iscorama-2002-/370804171530?pt=Camera_Lenses&hash=item5655a6a30a Thanks
Dave Reeve
Is the iscorama really that much better than the bolex moller? Apart from lacking the ability to rack focus in a simple way, the bolex footage I've seen looks at least on a par... Or perhaps I'm just trying to make myself feel better when that Iscorama once again gets out of my budget range and goes for some sort of insane over inflated figure... au8ust
Dave, I see it the opposite way. Is there any bolex footage you see it's superb that you could share?
Julian
I love this Bolex Moller short: http://vimeo.com/42252615 Camera: Panasonic GH2 Hack: Driftwood's Quantum X (v4d Orion) 'Dark Matter' Lens: Olympus F. Zuiko 38mm Pen F, Canon FD 85mm Anamorphic: Bolex Moller Anamorphot 8/19/1.5x The image quality is not so much the great feature of the Iscorama. It does let you use wider taking lenses I think (25mm on GH2, if i'm right?) and the focusing is a huge plus of course.
