zerocool22
Hey, Blackmagic is offering a discount on their video assist this summer. Shared in case some of you were looking. Super Members BTM_Pix Posted June 27, 2017 Super Members Share Posted June 27, 2017 The 4K is a hell of a deal at that price isn't it? Definitely think they'd be on to a serious winner with a 5" version of it though. The functionality benefits smaller cameras most but the form factor dwarfs them. zerocool22
Yeah I am just looking for a monitor for doing dji ronin work with the ursa mini pro. So the 5" 1080p is enough for me I think. I like that it has HDMI and SDI, the atomos samurai blade only has sdi. So I am still thinking about it.
zerocool22
The 7" might be too heavy for gymbal work. But would be a lot more usefull for monitoring. Does anybody here use the 7" on a gymbal?
Kisaha
Very tempting, does anyone knows if those two work good with Samsung NX1 cameras? I guess the NX1 is 4K only clean output, so the smaller one doesn't make any sense as a recorder. 7" is too much, but 5" is 1080 only.. Is this price drop indicate a new product coming, though? zerocool22
Yeah not sure, could be. Maybe a 5" 4k one. But who know, blackmagic has done these discounts before, with the blackmagic pocket at 50%. I still regret not getting it back then, afterwards prices went back up to 995$. AaronChicago
That's a great deal. Does anyone know if it's the same panel that they use on the Ursa Minis?

Yes, it was confirmed that it is the same panel. 5 hours ago, enny said: I got my self Aputure VS-5 amazing monitor for the price with shit load of options 600 Canadian dollars I hear that the LAG is still a problem. Can you confirm that? Is there still a delay on the image? As that would be a dealbreaker for me. (focuspulling etc) AaronChicago
