Zhiyun Cran V2 question

Hey fellas - for the Crane V2 users, is there a recent firmware update?  Their website is confusing.

If it's working fine then probably best to not update though, as always a possibility with these things that they change out components randomly.

Ok, has anyone with a V2 updated their firmware yet?  Their site doesn't list the V2.

I just took the V2  since there was a nice discount: how do you prefer to focus the subject when using shallow depth of field? Leaving as it is, with an electronic follow focus, hyper-focal, just by eye...??

You only have 2 choices:

1. Use a camera with great autofocus like the Canons. The NX1 also has great autofocus.

2. Manually set the focus and stay the same distance from your subject.

The point 2 it is what I always did with GH4, G7, now GH5 with my old SturdyCam, with the Glidecam and now with the Crane V2... I'd love to find a different solution using my camera and not switching to a Canon (I like Canon color science but I prefer Panasonic)....
