Lucian
Hi, I have a kowa B&H in use with my helios and gh2. It's pretty heavy, do you think i need to buy a support setup or put it on rails? will it damage the lenses or body without? Thanks!
JohnBarlow
Opinions will vary regarding this. I just happen to fall into the group that believes a properly supported scope is best and opens up so many possiblities. http://www.eoshd.com/comments/topic/2398-my-compact-moeller-322x-rig-scope-on-a-rope/
Lucian
Awesome setup. Is that support customized?
JohnBarlow
Most of what you see is easily obtained from Chinese ebay sellers, except for the brass support ring which I got from the local chandlers. Some correct sized orings grip the scope securely and I needed to drill a hole in the riser for the 10mm hex bolt. Tito Ferradans
Tito Ferradans
Cheap chinese is always a great solution. I'm not a fan of rails, since I feel it gets heavy way too fast, but set up quite a big one to support the Lomo 37-140mm. :P
