Cinegain Posted September 15, 2017 Share Posted September 15, 2017 Ah yeah, I just saw that. The RED had a weird like frosted milk bottle layer over it with a bit of a grey/green tint. So, colorwise the GH5 was way more appealing. I also think the small 4/3" sensor gives off more apparent sharpness where it hits the focus (usually noticeable with leafs, not to be confused with detail). Of course cinema cameras will always win in dynamic range (although the GH5 coped well with the sky, reflective hotspots were more of an issue). Was kind of disappointed with the lens.
