anax276
Hi, I ended up with a large number of LUTs and it has gotten very confusing... Especially since I would like to use different applications from times to times (PremierePro, FCPX, Resolve), which require the LUTs to be in a specific folder to work properly. How do you organize your LUT collection in order to find the LUT you want easily and to use it with different applications? I would like to avoid having multiple copies of the LUTs. I guess I could throw away some LUTs, but I... don't want to! :-) Thanks!
jonpais
LUT Utility from Color Grading Central for use with FCPX works fine for me, keeps everything organized.
sondreg
If you use a lot of different application you might want to use Symlink in ur project folders. - since your using FCPX I assume you are on a mac. I don't recall the exact name but I think the software I use was called Symlinker, very easy to setup. It's essentially a folder 'shortcut' that acts as a real folder. Keep 1 master LUTS folder where you store and organize, and symlink it in every programs LUT directory. anax276
