jtbullet
Hi. I have seen many patches, and they look nice. I am looking especially at some quantum footage that captured amazing shadow detail. It was not the 176 mb, but it was amazing. Has anyone ever done a thorough hack footage comparison? Can anyone point out things I may need to know? I plan to shoot in 24p 1080, and I have a hotshoe mounted hx9v that I am running concurrently at 1080p 60p in case I need some slow motion footage to cut in with it. Thanks for the help! Including Quantum 9b or the newer Quantum X2 (3 and 4 soon to be released) or http://www.eoshd.com/gh2-patch-vault#c2
hoodlum
Is there a glossary of terms somewhere for these hack patches. Not used to all these terms Intra, GOP and other short forms. Just picked up a GH2 with MKE400 and trying to figure out where to start with video.

Sara
If you have a good memory card it is. Make sure you own a few 95mbs Sandisk cards - don't cheap out and buy anything else. Have fun!
hoodlum
Thanks Sara. I have a Sandisk UHS-I 45mb card that I will try.
Giovassi
Driftwood new patches are to extreme for my needs and my level 10 cards. I wish to keep the 2 hrs range to record interviews and don't get a frozen camera in the middle of it. I'm using the Andrew's vanilla patch, there will be any optimized patch around 44mb bit rate for v.1.1?
