Of the very few videos on vimeo, you can see some obvious fakes. In one of them the stabilized footage has a wider FOV than the shaky footage. Not nice. So, alert! Thanks a lot. I nearly bought it. That would probably have been a waste in my case. I will rely on my tripod

I would love to see a plugin for resolve. Hopefully if they get popular enough we'll see plugins.

(vimeo embedding is not available there:) https://vimeo.com/227812784 What about to research a little bit before to take assumptions based on what pops up written on internet? ;-) Let's take a look on those vimeo users: https://vimeo.com/perfectloveweddings https://vimeo.com/littlepotatofilms Do they look like suspicious??! LOL :-) 1 hour ago, IronFilm said: . Hopefully if they get popular enough we'll see plugins. Right. FUD is a bitch and never welcome. Sorry to feel the need to write it. webrunner5
Rudolf
Ok, understood: You are never too old to do your home lessons... Thanks! On the other hand we are not talking about big money here... BTW I have learnt something new: Never heard FUD... And big thanks for your research. Those test footage looks really artificial and blurry. I still love old school ergonomics over software. graphicnatured
Check out Mercalli. It hasn't worked on everything, but some of the clips it has stabilized have surprised me. I think a lot of my issues are with still getting to know it.
Nathan Gabriel
Tie a 20lb weight to your arm. Done. Increased mass will mean it takes more force to alter the momentum of the camera #physics. Your footage will look silky smooth. Obviously use a tripod for stationary shots. How did we survive before the gh5? Also (though I prefer Panasonic over Canon) this is a good attitude to have: webrunner5
webrunner5
Probably best video on here. I have seen it many times. Truth is, it is very true.
