w00ioloo
Hello, I am a professional cameraman and producer, I shoot mostly sports events (outdoor sports and motor sports) and commercials. I have good experience with the Ronin's and noticed that "the lighter, the easier to get great stabilisation" I have just ordered a Zhiyun Crane (original) for 275 euros... For this price I couldn't resist. I own a GH5, GH4, nice set of zooms, nice set of primes and a Ronin-M. Aswell as a Mavic Pro. While shooting on mtb or trail competitions, all my gear for the day must fit in one backpack : Weight matters and I have to choose : ronin-M or Mavic pro. But can't take both. That's why I got the Zhiyun Crane, - I'm too impatient to wait for ronin-S- And now I'm tempted to get a 2nd hand LX100 (400e) to put on the crane : Would a LX100 (393g) fly better than a GH4 + 7-14 or 12-35 (560g+300g= 860g ) ? Zihyun crane load weight range is given as 350-1800g. In my understanding of gimbals, if setup right, the lighter camera would stabilize better, and allow me more extreme shots (ex: with a monopod from a car... etc). Do you have experience on that ? From the videos I have seen, it doesn't look like there is too much difference. Thanks for your help, i need to make a move soon if i'm getting the lx100.
