Grimor
Seens like any kind of little nut inside is loosing slowly. Did you try to screw this piece while pulling from it?

Never had any problem with the one I owned though. I hardly Ever use a neck strap, just a hand strap for Photos. But they do use the lug on one side. I always like the shoulder strap that screws into the tripod hole in the bottom. Lot more stronger. I know they had to send the body back to Olympus to fix them. No clue with the GH5. I bet sad to say same deal, back to Panasonic.
rabens44
I'm having the exact same issue. Has anyone come up with a solution?
webrunner5
I seriously doubt any solution, other than sending it back to Panasonic, is going to work. At a minimum you are going to have to take the entire top of the body off to reach the nuts.
kye
If you didn't mind a little damage, drilling a small hole right next to it might allow you to tighten the nut inside, then some decent strength glue to hold it all in place and close the hole again? JordanWright
I sent it back to Panasonic a while ago. They fixed it for free out of warranty. I think it did took about 2 weeks. They also fixed the ware to the grip that early models of the camera had. kye
