I normally wouldn't say this if its a $1500+ camera.... but its a sub-$1500 camera that has $8K+ camera capabilities.... If you make the mistake of putting it under water, freezing it or drowning it with sand... buy a new one!!! Lux Shots

Anaconda_
No mention of ProRes RAW, but safe bet that it'll be included by release right? Would seem strange to not have it if you ask me.
Coiii
Oh my god, I'm dying for some sample footage. Can we expect something like the Ursa Mini Pro? BMD mentioned that they are using Color Science 4.0. Is there any camera using that at this time?

Katrikura
The important thing about this release is that it will force other manufacturers to improve their specifications at a reasonable price. NikolaOvcharski

Yup, as exciting as this camera is, the form factor is no good for gimbals. Too wide, single mounting points, no shutter release, possibly heavier than the original pocket. Hopefully an updated micro is around the corner. Also not to be a downer, but Grant even said the announcement was happening too early for his liking. September 2018 release is a pipedream, zero point in preordering.
Kubrickian
This is clearly the camera that will let me self-actualize as a viable artist. I couldn't do it up until now, but with these specs, the sky's the limit. I just told my agent to hold all meetings until September. It was really helpful with Panny lenses that don’t have the hard stops.
