But is the Pocket dust, splash and freeze resistant? ?

I normally wouldn't say this if its a $1500+ camera.... but its a sub-$1500 camera that has $8K+ camera capabilities....

If you make the mistake of putting it under water, freezing it or drowning it with sand... buy a new one!!!

Curious about the weight, not mentioned anywhere.

Weight won't be finalized until closer to ship time. Material used is a hybrid plastic + carbon fiber material. Was mentioned in the presentation.

I’m half tempted to do the same but I probably won’t sell, just add to. FF Raw is pretty special.

The BMPCC4K is too wide for the Ronin M, so my 5D isn't going anywhere.

Yup, as exciting as this camera is, the form factor is no good for gimbals.

Too wide, single mounting points, no shutter release, possibly heavier than the original pocket.

Hopefully an updated micro is around the corner.

Also not to be a downer, but Grant even said the announcement was happening too early for his liking. September 2018 release is a pipedream, zero point in preordering.

The AF looks pretty worthless on the Pocket I. It is slow and the AF point can’t be moved. So @cantsin was not 100% wrong.

Well yes and no. With that small sensor, a quick push of the button would usually get your subject in focus fairly fast. It was really helpful with Panny lenses that don’t have the hard stops.
