Zoom H5 to Atomos ninja video recorder extension cable

Hello, I need an extension cable to use my zoom h5 as microphone connected to ATOMOS ninja video recorder.
Now I used for both camera/connection RODE TRS 3.5 SC2 dual-male http://it.rode.com/accessories/sc2, but is too short is I want to use the microphone on a boom for example.

1) I need a new TRS cable dual male like RODE SC8 http://it.rode.com/accessories/sc8 ?
2) is sufficient a normal 3.5 dual jack male; (cheaper)
3) I can use my SC2 with male-female like RODE VC1 http://it.rode.com/accessories/vc1
 

Or it is sufficient any extension cable?
