AaronChicago
The flickering and artifacts present in these RAW videos are annoying. I mean the whole concept is cool, and I'm sure they'll get it right soon, but it's not feasable for anything serious right now.
Mark Arica
The first clip looks amazing. I'd like to see comparisons of it without RAW recording.

Administrators Andrew Reid Posted May 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted May 15, 2013 I've corrected your post :) The flickering and artifacts present in these YOUTUUUUBE videos are annoying. I mean the whole concept is cool, and I'm sure they'll get it right soon, but it's not feasable for anything serious right now.
Andrew Benton
Here's a clip from cinema5d. https://vimeo.com/6615352 Beautiful! The indoor shots of the Kendo practice had amazing colors and dynamic range is there! But what's going on right at 0:54, I see two garbled bars show up... compression issue? I've never seen a video do this on Vimeo so have some worries with the hack :/ AaronChicago
AaronChicago
I've corrected your post :) https://vimeo.com/66170436 The horizontal bars at 0:13 are on the 5D half of the screen. Is it Vimeo/YouTube causing this problem, or when you compress to h.264? Either way Vimeo and YouTube are what people are used to watching videos online, so it would be a major problem to always have this issue. Administrators Andrew Reid Posted May 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted May 15, 2013 That horizontal line artefact isn't the same as what you saw in Luke's video though is it? Sure there are glitches. It is dev code!
AaronChicago
If it's all glitches from dev code, that will be fixed soon, then I'm excited about it. I want to be able to use it professionally.
