tony wilson
design for a zoom macro lens.. you need to get into the macro zone to use it. this is what they called an aspheron back in the day. if you have any regular camera lens with macro adjust focus in the macro area for sharps you need a zoom through wide angle which has extra opticks innit
tehellet
Interesting! But that basically means it's worthless for an anamorphic adapter setup?
JohnBarlow
Try putting a cheap strong diopter between scope and WA for testing purposes. You have nothing to lose. Maybe $
illgrain
old thread, i know ;-) i have got a bolex aspheron 4mm wide angle adapter more or less for free and tried it in front of the bolex moeller 16 x2 anamorphic lens, but couldn´t focus at all... the image is completely unsharp... i tried it on various taking lenses w/o the anamorphic and had the same problem... does anyone know this bolex adapter?
