I've never had any of his lenses, but I've done some research on them.

Edges are soft due to spherical aberration, there is a lot of blue/yellow chromatic aberration, center is quite sharp from f/2.8.

 

But there are some pros, too.
They're focus through, which means you don't have to double focus; they're not that heavy - no need for rigging your setup; price!
