GH5 and non native lenes

I know you can use a Canon lens and a Metabones Speedbooster and get autofocus but it's only single autofocus and not continuous and AFF doesn't work neither does focus tracking, so i'm intending on using a 0.71x adapter and a Nikon 70-300mm lens but i'm wondering using non native lenses do you still get focus peaking the same way you do when using manual focus with a native lens?

With non-native lens you still get focus peaking on the GH5.

I use it with mount adapted manual focus lenses all the time.

Focus peaking is calculated from the image, nothing whatsoever to do with the lens connection, that is why even external monitors can have the focus -peaking functionality built into the monitor.
